Chuck Woolery, the well-known American game show host has unfortunately died.

Chuck Woolery, the American game show, talk show host, actor, and musician has died aged 83.
The news was confirmed on X, formerly known as Twitter by his pal, Dr. Mark Young, with a tribute reading: “It is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away.

“Life will not be the same without him, RIP brother.”

e also presented Love Connection, Scrabble, Greed and Lingo to name a few.
Woolery also had a music career including several advertising jingles and a top 40 hit with pop duo The Avant-Garde.
Despite being the original host of Wheel of Fortune, Woolery decided to leave the show to pursue other endeavors with Pat Sajak taking over until 2024.
He came back to the room a short time later and said he was having trouble breathing. The paramedics were called but unfortunately, Woolery did not make it.
Many social media users have taken to X to pay tribute to the late presenter.
One penned: “America just lot a good man, a good conservative and a good patriot. RIP Chuck Woolery.”
A second added: “RIP Chuck Woolery. One of the greatest game show hosts ever to do it. Wish he’d be back in two and two.”
A third echoed: “From a fellow Kentuckian, I really enjoyed his work, and he gave us lots of laughs. God bless his family, may he RIP.”
